Service 04 — Crane truck
PROSNER s.r.o. of Klatovy, Czech Republic, offers transport by crane truck: a Mercedes-Benz Atego flatbed fitted with a hydraulic loader crane. The truck loads the cargo itself, carries it and sets it in place at the destination – no mobile crane, no forklift. It suits machinery, building materials and smaller containers, as well as sculptures and works of art.
Normally you need a haulier, a crane at the loading point and another crane at the destination. A crane truck does it all on its own: it arrives, loads, carries and sets the cargo down exactly where it is needed. You save on coordination and on cost.
We regularly transport and install sculptures with the crane truck. We load the piece at the studio, secure it with soft slings and, working alongside the artist, set it in place section by section – for instance in the courtyard of a historic building that a large crane could never reach.
