When is a load oversize?
In the Czech Republic, a load counts as oversize (an abnormal load) when the loaded vehicle exceeds 2.55 m in width, 4 m in height, 16.5 m in length (tractor unit with semi-trailer) or a total weight of 48 tonnes. Such a transport requires a special road-use permit and, in many cases, an escort vehicle.
You don’t have to work it out yourself. Send us the dimensions and the weight and we will tell you what the transport involves – including when the permits can be ready.
